Accreditation

The Euro-American Accreditation Agency was formed as a division of Northwestern International University by its trustees to ensure the highest possible standards of academic excellence in curriculum design and operational policies in all University programs. The agency is currently accepting applications from other reputable schools of higher learning for accreditation.

Standards of Accreditation for the Euro-American Accreditation Agency to which Northwestern International University subscribes:

  1. Educational and experiential qualifications of directors, administrators, and instructors are such as may reasonably ensure that students will receive education consistant with the objective of their program of study.

  2. The school shall maintain written records of the previous education and training to show why the traditional degree requirements were shortened.

  3. A copy of schedule of tuition, fees and other charges, rules pertaining to grading policy, and rules of operation are furnished to students upon enrollment into the university.

  4. The school shall have enough space, instructional material, personnel, and equipment to provide education of good quality.

  5. All courses, curriculum, and instruction shall be of such length, quality, and content to reasonably achieve the stated objective for which the degree programs are offered.

  6. The financial resources and management of the school shall be capable of sustaining a sound educational program consistant with its stated philosophy and objectives, and of providing for the long-term stability of the school.

  7. The school agrees to comply with all local and national regulations governing its programs.

  8. The school shall hire only administrators, directors, owners and instructors of good character and reputation.

  9. The school agrees not to use misleading advertising, either by actual statement, omission, or intimation which are in violation of governmental standards relating to advertising.

  10. The school shall have a clear written statement of its educational philosophy and objectives that addresses the needs of students and establishes expectations for quality education.

  11. The school shall provide for the periodic review of the statements of philosophy and objectives to ensure that they are appropriate to the needs of its students.

  12. There shall be evidence that the school is actively striving for excellence.

  13. Relationships between staff and students shall be characterized by mutual respect, fairness and understanding.

  14. Academic and personal records of students shall be properly maintained and protected against fire, theft, and unauthorized use.

  15. The school shall have a program of professional development for the staff.

  16. The school shall observe ethical principal in all its dealings with staff and students, and shall maintain cooperative and constructive relations with them in the interest of serving the needs of its students.

  17. The program of studies shall, in its overall content and design, its organizational arrangements, and its academic and instructional policies, represent a consistant and effective implantation of the school's philosophy and principles.

  18. The school shall effectively utilize, whenever possible, the diversity of its students and staff to enhance the educational experiences of its students and the quality of the school's program.

  19. The school's philosophy and objectives shall be prominently and accurately stated in the literature describing the school.

  20. In addition to the school's own facilities, the resources of the community in which the student is located should be used to enhance the educational program.
